The Solar Powered DA-20 3/4 HP Display Aerator combines clean, eco-friendly aeration with the focal point of a fountain: a spectacular solution for remote spots where running electric power wouldn’t be feasible or cost-effective.
The Solar Powered DA-20 sprays up to 300 gallons per minute (in the four-panel model) in a cascading, trumpet-shaped, adjustable pattern measuring about 5 feet tall, and 9 to 20 feet wide.
This healthy flow rate does a great job removing algae from the pond surface, maintaining clean and clear water, keeping pesky insects away, and adding a lot of oxygen to your pond. Adding oxygen not only does wonders for your fish, it's also key to rapidly breaking down decaying matter at the bottom of your pond. Finally, added oxygen means less muck over time.
The stainless steel, submersible motor is oil-free, making it exceptionally durable, maintenance-free, and the most environmentally friendly water aerator on the market.

The Solar Array - The system includes a pole-mounted frame, four photovoltaic panels, a disconnect box, a control unit, and all necessary wiring components. The entire structure mounts on a 4-inch SCH40/80 galvanized steel pipe and concrete footing which is not included (installer supplied).
Controller - The brains of the system is our Fhoton Drive™, a variable speed motor drive designed to run the 3/4 HP DA-20 specially equipped with a Franklin Electric submersible induction motor. This allows the solar PV array to gradually bring the water flow up to capacity and operate with variable sunny or cloudy conditions.
