The Lake and Pond Water Clarifier (10 lb.) is specially formulated to improve pond clarity and reduce algae growth. It works by binding excess phosphorus in the water column, a key nutrient that fuels algae blooms. It also acts as a flocculant, helping to settle suspended soil particles for visibly clearer water.

Made with aluminum sulfate (alum), this product uses the same trusted compound found in municipal water treatment plants to remove excess nutrients and reduce turbidity.

Safe for year-round use, most pond owners apply it one to three times per year. One 10 lb. container treats up to 1/4 acre of water. For example, a 1/2-acre pond would require 20 lbs.
