For best results, apply Shoreline Defense while weeds are in their active growing stage. When treating cattails, late summer to early fall is the most effective application window. To boost performance, pair with Treatment Booster Plus—a citrus-based surfactant that enhances penetration through waxy cuticles and ensures more complete coverage and absorption.

When to Apply
Shoreline Defense Emergent Weed Control should be applied to target weeds while they are active and growing. The active ingredients in Shoreline Defense Emergent Weed Control will be absorbed by the plant, where they travel to the roots, killing the entire plant.
How to Apply
Mix the desired amount of Shoreline Defense Emergent Weed Control and pond water in accordance to the label directions. Using a pressurized sprayer, spray the Shoreline Defense Emergent Weed Control mixture directly onto target weeds.
Use with Treatment Booster Plus for best results. Treated weeds will begin to brown and die.
Once weeds are completely dead, cut and rake them away to prevent an accumulation of plant decay and pond muck.
