Bring vibrant, natural-looking color to your pond or lake with Airmax Blue Pond Dye. Available in two stunning shades—Nature’s Blue (true blue) and Twilight Blue (deep, reflective blue-black)—and in both standard and Plus formulas, this dye enhances water appearance while supporting a balanced ecosystem. The Plus versions include beneficial bacteria to clarify water and reduce organic buildup for improved pond health.
When applied as directed, one quart of 4X concentrated dye treats up to 1 surface acre, 4–6 feet deep, while one gallon of Pond Dye Plus treats the same area and adds water-clarifying benefits.
Water Restrictions
Pond dye can be safely applied to lakes and ponds used for irrigation and aquaculture. Water treated with pond dye is safe for immediate use in recreation, fishing, and other activities. It’s also safe for recreational ponds, horses, livestock, birds, pets, fish, wildlife, and the environment.
Do not apply to water intended for human consumption. Not recommended for small water features or decorative water gardens.

Enhance your pond or lake with the vibrant, true-blue color of Airmax Nature’s Blue Pond Dye. Choose the 4X Concentrated Quart for smaller ponds or the Bacteria-Enhanced Plus Gallon for larger bodies of water. Both add rich color that complements green landscapes while helping control algae, weeds, and water clarity.
Pond Dye Application
For Nature’s Blue (1 Quart) – Apply in early spring for year-round color. Safe to use in any water temperature. Reapply every 4–8 weeks or as needed. Heavy rain or strong sunlight may require additional treatments.
Shake well before use. Pour dye in several spots along the pond’s edge—no mixing needed.
For Nature’s Blue Plus (1 Gallon) – Apply when water temperatures are above 50°F to activate beneficial bacteria. Wait at least 3 days after using any algaecide or herbicide, then reapply every 4–8 weeks as needed.
Shake well before use. Pour directly from the container in several spots along the shoreline for even coverage.

Bring a natural, deep-blue tone to your pond with Airmax Twilight Blue Pond Dye. Choose the 4X Concentrated Quart for smaller ponds or the Bacteria-Enhanced Plus Gallon for larger bodies of water. Both provide a soft, balanced color that blends beautifully with your surroundings while helping control algae, weeds, and water clarity.
For extra clarity, Twilight Blue Pond Dye Plus combines color-enhancing dye with beneficial bacteria to reduce muck, clear cloudy water, and maintain a natural blackish-blue tint with added UV protection.
Pond Dye Application
For Twilight Blue (1 Quart) – Apply in early spring for year-round color. Water temperature doesn’t affect performance. Reapply every 4–8 weeks or as needed. Heavy rain or strong sunlight may require extra treatments.
Shake well before use. Pour in several spots along the pond’s edge—no mixing required.
For Twilight Blue Plus (1 Gallon) – Apply when water temperatures are above 50°F to activate beneficial bacteria. Wait at least 3 days after using any algaecide or herbicide, and reapply every 4–8 weeks or as needed to maintain color and clarity.
