This 10′ x 10′ Swim Platform or Dock is an ideal choice, especially if you enjoy a straightforward DIY project. We provide everything you need to build it, except for the wood! That includes the floats, outside corners, inside corners, hinge connectors, lag bolts, carriage bolts, washers, nuts, SS deck screws, and more. We even provide detailed plans and a simple list of wood to purchase.
You can spend a lot of money on a prefab dock and walkway but why not just buy our kit and with a few hours on a weekend, it’s done!
The floats are a one piece rotationally molded part, which eliminates seams that could cause water leakage. We use a thick shell of extra strong virgin polyethylene containing UV inhibitors which makes our floats resistant to the sun, salt water, fresh water, oil, gas and marine organisms. Each float is foam filled with expanded polystyrene for optimum flotation.
Our plans use 2″ x 8″ pressure treated wood for the frame and runners then your choice of 2″ x 6″ deck boards, 5/4″ boards or composite for the top. Our 4′ x 8′ connectors are designed to pivot up and down at all connection points. This allows the dock and gangways to move with the waves, not fight the waves!
Combine the dock with one, two or even three of our gangway connectors and your set to go. We also have a nice floating dock ladder that makes climbing in and out of the water much easier.

NOTE: You can also use all of the included hardware and floats to make this 12′ x 12′ in size. We do not recommend going larger than this given the float sizes provided.

The aluminum Floating Dock Ladder is a great way to really enjoy swimming in your pond or lake! This ladder lifts up and is retractable if you want to take it out of the water to extend it’s life. This model comes with 4 wide steps measuring 18″ across so climbing in and out is much easier.
This Shoreline Accessory Kit gives you all the hardware necessary to connect your Gangway into the shoreline using a 6″ x 6″ post or a 6″ or 8″ pressure treated board attached to two posts.

You’ll need this Gangway Accessory Kit (extra floats + mounting hardware) if you’re purchasing multiple gangways and connecting them to get your dock further out into your pond or lake.
The standard 4’x 8′ gangway comes with one float as one side usually connects into the shoreline.
If you are using multiple gangways, you’ll need 2 floats on each 8′ gangway out in the water and connector pins to connect the gangways together.
NOTE: For gangway’s longer than 8′, you will need additional floats. For 8′ connector gangways, we recommend two floats total (one with the 4′ x 8′ gangway and a second with the accessory kit).
Add one additional Gangway Accessory Kit for each 4′ of gangway length. So for a 12′ Gangway that is out in the water, you would need 2 Accessory Kits.
For a 16′ Gangway, you would need 3 Accessory Kits to go with the initial gangway.
