Scott Aerator Dock Mount De-Icer On Boat With Icy Water

Scott Aerator Dock De-Icer ProductĀ Details

  • 1/2, 3/4, and 1 HPĀ models are available.
  • 115-volt and 230-voltĀ electrical options.
  • Maintenance-free, environmentally friendly motors.
  • 12-gauge, submersible, 25-foot power cord with rugged Hubbell marine-style plug included.
  • Under extreme, below-zero winter conditions,Ā the 1/2 HP De-Icer will keep a minimum 50-foot diameter area ice-free, and up to 70 feet using the 1 HP model.
  • The De-Icer is engineered for all water temperatures.
  • The De-Icer runs at 3450 rpm. Competitive de-icers, even those with 1-hp motors, run at fewer than 2000 rpm. This means the Scott De-Icer moves 400 gallons per minute compared to the competitors' 180 gallons per minute.
  • The De-Icer is manufactured using American-made stainless steel, even the motor. The competition utilizes galvanized metal.
  • The De-Icer comes standard with an unconditional, 5-year motor warranty. Competitive models warrant their de-icers for just two years.
  • GFCI required. Please disconnect the power when swimmers are present. Greater cord lengths are available.

Use The Scott Aerator Floating De-Icer If You Don't Have A DockĀ

Needing to maintain open expanses of water during winter without a dock? Paired with the floating platform mounting option, the de-icer is suspended beneath the water's surface at a depth of approximately 2 feet, and its mechanism involves the removal and prevention of ice by drawing up warmer water from the depths and then circulating it in a continuous and agitating manner. Designed to accommodate fluctuations in water levels, the Floating De-Icer boasts robust engineering that is suitable for use in both freshwater and saltwater environments. To select this option, chooseĀ Floating Platform on the mountain options above.Ā

Easily Suspend From You Boat, Dock, or Marina With The Scott Aerator Slinger De-Icer

The Scott Aerator Slinger De-Icer can hang effortlessly from your boat, pilings, or dock using the provided nylon ropes. Harnessing warmer waters from below, this de-icer combats ice with continuous agitation. Adapts to water level changes, and thrives in diverse environments. Engineered for tough spots and dynamic conditions, an economical choice for ice prevention in expansive marinas and docks. Select this option by choosingĀ Nylon Ropes For SuspensionĀ on the mounting options above.Ā

Other Scott Aerator De-Icer Mounting & Add-On Options

A heavy-duty, stainless steel dock plate, pipe, and yoke assembly suspend the Scott Aerator Dock Mount De-Icer under the waterā€™s surface. It mounts quickly and easily to almost any type of dock, and can easily be adjusted to accommodate different water levels. The Dock Mount De-Icer keeps ice from forming by bringing warmer water from the bottom and sending it out in a continuously agitated movement. This helps prevent dock pilings from being jacked, or lifted, by acting as a buffer to prevent ice expansion and pressure damage. Under extreme, below-zero winter conditions, our 1/2HP De-Icer will keep a minimum 50-foot diameter area ice-free, and up to 70 feet using the 1HP model.
